Life is so much nicer when you are dropped off right in front of your terminal! Already you are expected to arrive extra early before checking in, then there are the complications of navigating your way among the terminals and Heathrow perimeter roads, finding the appropriate parking spot, and then gathering up luggage, perhaps children too, locking up and making your way through the crowds to check in. A transfer bus is probably involved as well.
